I've decided to challenge myself and begin running again tomorrow. I know that if my music, however, is not spot on at pumping me up...I lag, I quit, I lose motivation.

What's on your iPod? I'm open to lots of music, so please share.

Thanks!

I run long distance outdoors in the hills. No music for me. I listen to the wind through the trees, birds, coyotes howling (depending on the time of day) the crunch of my feet on the trail...It's a lot like meditation, but with an elevated heart rate. Very relaxing. :flowerforyou:

Here's a few that I listen to while working out:

    Feel Good -Gorillaz
    Konichiwa B***es - Robyn
I'm Sexy and I know It - LMFAO
    Radioactive - Imagine Dragons

A bunch of military-type marching chants, in Latin... with drums. I think they originally came from a movie or documentary about Rome or something.

Yeah, I have no idea how I ended up with it, either, but it's timed perfectly.

Try doing cardio to Savant... I listen to a lot.. Those are just my newest additions. A lot of it was downtempo and may not be the greatest for certain types of training... Probably best suited to stretching or yoga.

    whats Earl?

I'll look them up. Yeah some of it felt a bit ambientish for running, but was pleasant to have coffee to this morning. Earl Sweatshirt. If you like Madlib, you might like him too.

If I am running it's bubblegum pop / Top 40 crap with a dance tempo and if I am lifting, It's dubstep.
