Coconut Oil? Any good?

I recently gotten back into using coconut oil and I have a jar that is out dated since August 2013!
Just wondering if you think its still good? It looks good and smells good.
Don't wanna buy another one if I don't have to.

I'm of the opinion that, if it smells okay, it's okay.

If you're still wary just use it as moisturiser and get a new one for the kitchen
