I had a NASTY cold that lasted nearly two weeks. Now I'm trying to get myself back into exercising. What do any of you recommend?

I would stay away from cardio for the moment.
Get into some lifting, starting light.
I have asthma, so I know that when I'm recovering from a cold my breathing is pretty terrible. Panting on a treadmill definitely will not help that.
Idk, you might be able to bounce back faster than me.
    Listen to your body.
  • If I were you I would gently ease back into it! I recently was sick with a cold for 10 days...Then my first exercise after recovering was a 60 minute high intensity circuit/HIIT/tabata class... Oh my god. I felt like I was going to die. So yeah... Don't do what I did!! Go easy doing some mild cardio/weights (you won't be on top form but don't let it discourage you), and after a couple of gym sessions you should be feeling good again :) Hope this helps :)
