New to MFP, but not to trying to get fit

Hi, all. I've been using MFP sporadically while I was on another plan. I dropped their online plan when I realized I could get just as much benefit here without paying their extra fees.
I've been trying to eat right off and on for a few years now, and added exercise about 9 months ago or so. I was 255 or so at my heaviest, 208 at my most recent lightest. Now I'm around 220 or so. My goal has been to get to 199 ("healthy BMI" claims to be 185 at the high end) and decide from there how I want to proceed.
I'm on my third day of tracking here, so far so good. I figured I'd come out of the shadows lurking and say hi.
