Per some comments on here, and elsewhere, I really started hitting free weights hard (and major crunches). Working out harder and more efficiently than with machines. Definitely building muscle tone, and since muscle takes more calories than fat, it's starting to pay off. Only five pounds down so far, but I'm not too concerned about that so far. Having my clothes fit better is so nice. I expect that it will come. Also I am able to really crank up my cardio.

Thanks to everyone who inspired me.

    Great job! I am going to hire a trainer for a few sessions to "remind"/start me on a free weights program I can do a few times a week....3" in 4 weeks is awesome!
