Adding protein powder to recipes in baking

I have some vanilla protein powder (Body Fortress Super Advanced Whey Protein), and I pretty much only use it for making smoothies. But I was recently given a jar of cookie mix. You know, when people who spend a lot of time on Pinterest fill a mason jar with layers of the dry cookie ingredients and give it to you, and you just add the wet ingredients when you make the cookies.
So I thought it'd be an interesting experiment to try "protein cookies." I see things like protein pancakes, protein cheesecake, etc. all over these boards. But I've never been much of a baker and I don't want to mess it up. Is there anything special I have to do? Is there a specific ratio of protein powder I should add? For the protein powder I add should I remove some flour? Can I just simply add a scoop of protein powder to the recipe? Since I'll be using vanilla protein powder should I skip adding any vanilla extract?
Any other tips for baking with protein powder?

There are tons of protein baked goods recipes on IG and Pinterest. But are you trying to make healthier versions of the recipe or just trying to add extra protein to what you already have to increase protein because I don't think I would do that. Bodybuilding.com and vitacost has recipes too. I'm not a baker either so I rely on recipes and sometimes they work out and sometimes they don't.0

I made some low carb protein cookies with peanut butter as the replacement for flour, and added in some whey protein powder that I got for my husband, but he doesn't like it so it's all mine now. They were awesome! Just add it to the mix and enjoy!0
