WHO is launching a public consultation on its guidelines on sugar intake to reduce problems like obesity. The present recommendation is 10 percent of calories. The new draft proposes sugar to be less than 10 percent and less than 5 percent would be beneficial!
The draft guideline was formulated based on scientific studies on the consumption of sugars and how that relates to excess weight gain and tooth decay in adults and children.

Great read Joann!
As usual, your right on point!!
And I really want to thank you again, publicly!
You really have helped me so much, and took your time to explain macros, clean eating, Kettlebell, etc to me and I so appreciate it! I look at things totally differently now and couldn't ever imagine eating half of that stuff ever again! Lol!! Don't get me wrong, I love a treat, but in moderation of coarse, and even then I'm mindful of it.
The things you taught me have stuck with me and most of all, I just love the kettlebell!! Thanks again for everything!!! (I'll get those pictures out of my storage unit and make sure to get them to you soon!!0
