Raw food/ fruit and veg fast?

Thinking of doing a week of only raw foods.. Or a fruit and veg fast.. Has anyone got experience with either of these?

    I did raw food for a week last week and it was awesome. I ate fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds and sprouts. I also ate sushi twice (raw fish, seaweed + some cooked rice). I didn't lose a *ton* of weight but I think it helped with pressing "reset" on my body and I felt much more energized afterward! I would reccommend.

    I am not doing a week, but I regularly do smoothie days, with green vegetable smoothies and nothing else to eat for that day. Last week I did three days in a row. What I like about it is a) I love the smoothies b) it creates a nice calorie deficit. On a general note though: I do not see this as a permanent thing or as a cleanse, I just like doing it and it makes me feel less bloated.

    It's not really a fast, but i would highly recommend doing a fruit and veg trial. I think trying it out is a good idea. Enjoy the extra energy you get!
