Ketosis? NK?

Does someone has some ideas with a ketogenic diet?
I am trying to reach nutritional ketosis for 4 weeks but seems impossible... my blood ketone readings just go up and down (0,6-1,2).
At least I lose weight but also gain fast if I raise kcal just a bit
What can be the problem?

insulin resistent

A quick question, what is your short term (4 week) goal for doing ketosis and what is your long term goal and eating strategy?0

FYI at 0.6 to 1.2 mmol/L you ARE in nutritional ketosis. Anything over 0.5 mmol/L is NK.
If you're trying to get more optimized, it might simply be a matter of time. I've known some people that take 8 weeks to get into a more optimized (1.6 to 3mmol/L) ketosis.
Stick with it, maintain a deficit, and you'll get there. If you're not exercising, add some - even if it's just walking. That will help.0 -
is it benefitial to raise protein for more satiety instead of trying to reach NK?0

This. Be wary of adding more protein. Our bodies can produce glucose from protein. (Gluconeogenesis)FYI at 0.6 to 1.2 mmol/L you ARE in nutritional ketosis. Anything over 0.5 mmol/L is NK.
