Activity Level Question

So, in your profile where you choose your activity level, I chose 'Lightly Active" I am wondering if this is correct and looking for some input.

I work four 10 hour days. I wear a pedometer to work and during the course of the work day I usually get in between 7,000-11,000 steps just at work alone. I also try to do some kind of workout 3x per week. This is usually 30 min. of cardio or something similar.

Do you think Lightly Active is the right choice?

Not sure I can answer this as I am also looking for an answer as I have set myself to sedentary as I work in an office and pretty much stay sat all day. However, my week of working out is the following:

    - 6 times a week at the gym including 10 - 20 mins of easy cardio to warm up followed by 50 minutes of heavy lifting (rotate 3 programs - biceps and back, triceps and chest, shoulders)
    - 3 times a week doing martial arts (1 x Tang soo do, 1 x Kenpo, 1 x kick boxing)
    - 2 times a week doing body combat.

So, I would be interested to see if I have set myself correctly also.

I would say you are both moderately active. Possibly a little inbetween moderately-lightly

Calculate your TDEE at both and pick an in between number.

I don't think the activity level setting on MFP wants you do include designated exercise.
You're supposed to log your designated exercise and then eat back at least a portion of those calories.
So if you do a lot of walking or lifting or anything at work or during the day, THAT would be what affects your activity level.
I don't know if that helps xD

Cheers, makes sense to me, therefore I can leave my settings at sedentary. :)
