MFP TDEE and a question

I started here over two weeks ago, using the standard MFP calorie tool. Then I did more research and decided to go by my TDEE. But I have noticed the last few days that I have gotten it into my head that since I don't have to eat back my exercise calories, I didn't need to exercise. Weird, but that's where my mind went. If there isn't any immediate reward for exercising, then I'm not going to do it. Just eating in deficit should be enough.
Today I switched back to the MFP because it will force me to get up and do something.
Also I used a calculator online that told me I should cut back to 1064 a day. It said to eat 1200 a day then exercise down to 1064. Isn't that defeating the purpose of getting enough calories in for good nutrition?

There's nothing wrong with using an increase in calories eaten as a motivator to exercise, if that works for you.

What is your gender, age, weight and height? Since you're already so small, trying to lose more than 0.5/week is probably too aggressive of goal. What do you have MFP set to for this?

With 13 lb. to go, set your goal to .5 lb. per week and be patient.

Weight loss takes a whole lot of trial & error to find what works for you. You've already found that the MFP defaults work better for you than TDEE. Great job!

I am set to a half pound a week. I am 5ft 1 weigh 126 lbs. need to get down to 113. I think I am more worried about toning than actually exercising to be in shape. Sad I know, but at my age if it starts falling it won't stop! LOL I don't want to be rip, my days are over for that, I just want to be nicely toned for a woman pushing 50.

...then you need to focus on heavy lifting and eating near your maintenance calories.
