How many cups are in 1 pound of dried farfalle (bow tie pasta)? I know that the Schnuck's brand of bow tie past has 12 oz. in a box, or 340 grams. My recipe calls for 1 pound of dried farfalle. How many cups equals 1 pound of bow tie pasta? Thanks for your help.

    You are mixing weight (pounds) with volume (cups). If your box weighs 12 ounces, then you need one box plus one third of a second box to total 16 ounces (one pound).
    Otherwise, buy a food scale.
