Cholesterol test just came back and my total cholesterol went from 278 to 186 over the last year. No medication, just diet change and light exercise. I was shocked! (but happy)

That is wonderful. I'm hoping I'll get off my cholesterol pills once my weight comes off. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Congratulations! In 2012, my cholesterol wasn't bad but my doctor was concerned anyway. In 2013, I was completely within normal range just because of diet and exercise. It was a wonderful feeling.

Same happened to me and I tell you I could have cried as my doctor wanted to just throw me on medication first without even trying a diet change. Glad I did not listen to him and got it under control myself. CONGRATS TO YOU!

Many of us get caught up in approving of our appearance through weight loss, but at the end of the day it is about being healthier and quality of life. Great work.
