Done the Empire State Building Run-up (NYC)?? It's held in February... That's 86 flights of stairs (1576 steps)

A friend of mine and I are thinking about doing it... and I was just wondering if anyone already had?

    I haven't ever been to NYC, so it's safe to say, no, I haven't. lol More power to ya to do it, though! Awesome goal!

    i take it you live in New York? i've never done it, or heard of it, but if you have the chance, i would totally jump on that opportunity.

    sadly I did some more research and its by invitation only, since they really have to limit the amount of people running up stairs.. but if I get some marathons under my belt its a possibility for next year or something I think. :D

    and I dont live in NY at the moment (I have been back with my family in Indiana for this year, but going back Jan 2011!!!)
