Beverage Question

I was studying around about a year ago about tips to help aid in weight loss as well as digestion, and I was wondering if anyone else had heard of this; drinking warm or hot beverages while eating fatty foods.
It says that it helps in the aiding of digestion because it doesn't allow the fats to become more solidified in your body. I have found that it does help with me, and I rarely if ever drink cold beverages now. Even my water; I make sure it is either room temperature or warmer.
I'm sure what you're drinking warm also counts...I drink either hot tea (with a spoonful of Stevia in it) or water all day.
Has anyone else heard of this? Thoughts?
