So I'm trying to increase my protein level and can get about 150 grams daily I'm 5 ft 2 an ectomorph I can easily get in 400 grams of healthy carbs but protein a big struggle I want to be able to hit 300 grams then eventually 400 per day.
But how? I'm not a big fan of supplements so I rarely take them but it hard eating four to six chicken Breast per day. Plus 2 or 4 ground beef patties.
What are some foods I can eat that are healthy and high in protein I don't have a ton of money to spend. And we only have walmart and a small local grocery store in my small town.
We don't have trader joes or anything like that.
So I need some help what foods can I eat to get 300 grams in?

Why do you want to eat 300-400 grams of protein per day?0

300 seems a little high- esp at 5'2" (read awfully- I'm 5'8" and managing fine on 150-200 a day)
The best way solution for high protein has been a combination of meat and protein powder and greek yogurt.
8 oz of greek yogurt + 1 scoop (29 grams for me) of gold standard vanilla + 5 oz of fruit = 240 calories 40 grams of protein- which is a pretty good bang for your buck.
Milk is also a great source as well.0 -

I really can't see any reason to have such a high protein goal, but I'd say you're going to have a pretty difficult time hitting 300 - 400 grams per day without some pretty heavy supplementation. I eat a lot of meat and poultry and eggs and greek yogurt, etc and no way I could hit that target with just food.0

Most recommendations I have seen suggest around 1 g protein per lb of lean body mass.
Jim Wendell in his 5/3/1 book suggests people looking to bulk have a 50 g protein shake before every meal. Then eat 30-50 g of protein first (before the veggies) per meal. And to eat 4-6 times a day. That would get you there! But that is a lot of eating, and a lot of shakes. Rippetoe suggests adding a gallon of milk a day (GOMAD) - that'd be 128 g of protein right there.0 -
You dont need that much protein. Eat 1 to 1.5 grams per pound of weight.0
