Feeling Thankful

I just wanted to take a minute to ramble and share that I'm feeling very thankful today.
Thankful for the ability to get up and get moving! Thankful that I can do what I can do right now, today. :drinker:
I was reading yesterday about a young lady's journey who has been struggling with exercise. She's only able (for now) to do 5-10 minutes of light cardio at a time without becoming extremely fatigued. After reading her 'stats' I realized that 'on paper' she's healthier than I am! (has a lot less to lose)
I complain sometimes about being in pain or being tired, but I have to say that I am THANKFUL that my body allows me to really work it out. At the end of last year I was 307 lbs! When I started working out and doing real cardio, I started off being able to do 20 minutes of mid-high intensity working out either on the elliptical or the treadmill.
This morning, I just made it to being able to do an 11-minute mile! (I've been using the C25K app to train for a 5K at the end of April). I did 3 miles in 33 minutes! I was so proud of myself & I'm thankful for having the 'ability' to be able to do something towards a healthier me.

So, I'm hoping this inspires someone to be thankful for wherever they are in their weight loss journey. If you can do 20 minutes, be happy b/c someone else can only do 5.
If you can only do 5 minutes, be thankful, because someone else is struggling with being able to work out at all.

We all have to start somewhere in order to get to the end.

I've only been at this for three weeks, and I'm dreaming of being able to do a 5k.... I started out at 2 miles in 35 minutes, but have it down to 26-27 mins.... So happy for you!!!! I can't wait to post my own "Thankful" note :)
