Over 60 and can't seem to lose

Been struggling for about 2 years now. Losing weight used to be so easy. I'm semi-retired. I write for a living, so I'm sitting down a lot. But I also belong to a gym and just came from a 90 minute session of weights (50 min.) and walking on a treadmill (30 min). I will likely go out and walk a half hour later in the day. I track, but I'm not perfect (early evenings are bad times), but I"m trying. Any suggestions from people my age would be appreciated. Do we need to eat even less? Would more and more exercise help?

Yes, weight loss gets harder as we get older. Metabolism does slow down, so we have not as many calories to play with. But, hopefully, we have other things to combat this. Years of experience and common sense! Don't forget patience! Your diary is locked, so we can't view it to help. But taking in less calories than you burn is a start. Don't give up!0
