Not sure how to go about this.

I've wanted to lose weight for years but have always been pretty fit as a year round swimmer. Well, come May and I will hit a year without swimming and have gained the freshman 15. My biggest problem is always what am I supposed to do to lose? I realize now if I didn't eat 3 dinners after swim team each night I would have lost because I always manged to maintain.

Now out on my own without a forced workout how do I go about losing 35-40lbs. I am 5'2'' and about 150-155 (I don't like weighing myself) I want to be near a 115-120 but I'm going for more of a look than a number, these are just estimates. I want to be in shape. Obviously my first goal is counting calories regularly but what should I do about exercise? I've heard so much I don't even know what kind of regimen I should be on. I don't swim often anymore but have gotten into running, I am not terribly out of shape. I can work out 7 days a week just fine. Other goals I have include flexibility, agility, and balance.

Any advice? Thanks!
