Running prams

Has anyone used one before? Looking at getting one so I can take my daughter out and I've never run with one before. Any tips or anything I need to know? Thanks :)

I've used them quite a bit. My wife and I used to run 3 miles at a time 5-6 days a week. The only advice I have is to look at 2nd hand shops (we bought a couple almost new for $10 a piece, they would have been closer to $200 otherwise), and find one with the biggest wheels/tires you can. The three wheeled versions are a pain to steer without balancing on the back or front tire/s. And pushing them will slow you down some for sure, but that only makes you stronger.

BOBs are the best, IMO. I tried a couple other brands but they didn't work for me. I've been using my bob for almost two years now and never had a problem with it. I love it! Best investment ever!

Really enjoyed my Wike. Reasons why I liked it compared to others.

1 bar moved around in 3 minutes converts it from jogging stroller to biking trailer, which we do too. Can lower push bar if desired.

All the same sized wheels is nice for spare tubes.
Bigger wheels is better for bumpy sidewalk or heaving asphalt run/bike trail. He's slept through some pretty bad bumps somehow.
Option for solid plastic front door is nice if windy and you don't need parachute workout nor it trying to take off sideways. Also when cooler and wind not desired by kiddo to stay colder.

It has a lot of the other stuff all the others have, little extra storage, actually decent amount more than I'd care to tow or push, but available if going to park too with toys.
Also has normal stroller front wheel that pivots for slow movement action over the straight wheel for jogging.
Some have brakes if lots of hills, option on Wike I didn't get. I just get extra workout holding it back on downhills.

As mentioned, good ones are good investment, confirm the weight load goes high enough to get everything out of it.
