TDEE/BMR question!

hey y'all!
I just did my TDEE and it was 2067 and my BMR was 1506, so.....can anyone explain this to me? I feel like a moron for not understanding it, but I want to make sure I do this right!
Currently, I waitress 5 days a week so for 4 of those days I'm on my feet for 6 hours, and the 5th day I'm usually on a 11 hour shift.
I put my activity level on mod active for calorie goal of around 1300, but then I decided I am going to try to do lightly active and log more of my job.
I haven't really moved at all on the scale in over a month, I have been regularly exercising and I eat with the ratio of 85% clean daily. Before I did the calculators I was eating around 1300 cal a day or less...not on purpose, just wasn't as hungry!
so any thoughts?
any help would be appreciated! I don't have a whole lot left to lose, my UG would be about 15 lbs lighter, but heck I'd be happy with another 10 lb lost!
Thanks y'all

BMR - Basal Metabolic Rate...the calories you "burn" just being alive...you would "burn" those calories sleeping all day long.
TDEE - Total Daily Energy Expenditure - when you do TDEE you really need to include everything in your activity level for accuracy...you do not log work and exercise separately when you do TDEE, it's all wrapped into your calorie goal.
Keep in mind that all of these are estimates based on statistical averages of people with similar stats. You may or may not fall within those statistical averages. Also, a vast many people underestimate their intake...they think they're eating XXXX calories per day but they don't really weigh or measure anything. When I started using a food scale I realized I was underestimating my intake by around 400 - 600 calories per day on average...sounds like a lot, but really it's just a couple handfuls of nuts. It's pretty easy to wipe out a calorie deficit with calorie creep and underestimating intake.
ETA: with very little weight to lose, it's going to be really, really, really slow. You have to have a plethora of fat stores to go fast...with very little to lose, I wouldn't even pay much attention to the scale and really just focus on your fitness. Set your calories to lose about 1/2 Lb per week and focus on body re-comp.0 -
buy a HRM to monitor how much/many calories you burn during the day.0

With 10–15 lb. to lose, just set your goal to .5 lb. per week (which is more than 1,300 calories) and be patient. Eat back your exercise calories for two weeks. If you don't lose, eat back half your exercise calories for another two weeks.
If you're determined to do TDEE, eat at a 10–15% deficit. (Edited to add that's 1,700–1,800 calories.) TDEE includes exercise, so do not eat back any exercise calories. That would be double dipping.
