Where did all my friends go?

As sometimes happens on this website, you add people as friends but then they become inactive and disappear from the radar. Many have not logged in for months, and I get that, because on occasion I drop off the radar myself for a month or two depending on how life is going. Now I find myself with very few friends that are actually active on my page, and I miss the motivation and support that I had.

This is my request for some new friends.

I'm all for supporting, commiserating and congratulating. What I won't do is support fad, quack, puedoscientific, quick fix miracle cures. Weight loss for me is 30% health, 70% vanity, but I'd like to reverse those numbers. I've lost 90lbs, gained some back, lost, gained, and am currently losing again. It's a continuous battle for me, and I keep fighting it. I believe in eating as "healthy" as possible, but that there's no "demon" food. I exercise at least 5 days a week (HITT), and play a couple of hours of volleyball twice a week, and it's a love/hate relationship with exercise, but my body needs it. That's my philosophy in a nutshell.

I'm about to start the NROLFW program, in addition to my workouts and volleyball. I do enjoy lifting weights.

If that sort of friend appeals to you, please add me as a friend. I need all the help I can get! :)

    I'm in.

I'm 63 years old, but I admire the fact that you've stuck with this.
    So.

I can help provide encouragement and you can provide inspiration for me!

I have been on and off this site for several years but have gained more than I lost. This month I committed to logging in daily and have made a few friends to help hold me accountable and to encourage each other. Feel free to ad me as a friend if interested in sharing the journey.

I will send you a friend request! I log in daily (unless traveling) and I've found that friends have really helped me stay on track since transitioning to maintenance. I'm happy to have active friends no matter their point in the journey!
