Bulk and cut vs recomping?

What do you guys think, pros and cons of each?

On bulk and cut, I've personally seen improvement more prevalently than compared to doing a recomp (which I did for only 1 year).
I will say that if one is close to where they want to be and is just looking to add just a little more muscle and isn't in a big hurry, then go recomp.

I did a bulk once... It's take me two years to get back into the mid-set to "cut" again. But this is just me, I also had a lot going on in my life and just couldn't stick with a deficit.0
