Optimum Gold Standard 100% Whey?

Ugh, so confused on the contradictions on the differences between Whey concentrate/blend vs. Whey isolate.
Almost bought Optimum Gold Standard to help reach my protein goal. I currently use Diesel and Promasil but I heard Optimum Gold Standard was waay better tasting and had a better texture.

Went to GNC to get some and the heifer at the register told me it was a horrible/cheap product to get my protein intake. :noway:
Said that our body only absorbs so many grams of protein with the protein blend/concentrate.
I just googled and saw conflicting facts...so I figured I'd come here and ask my fellow MFpals.

My goal is to decrease my body fat and maintain my lbm. I currently eat at a deficit and I lift weights 5 times a week with cardio 3 times a week.
130gram protein goal (I'm a long time vegetarian/vegan so I have a hard time consuming large quantities of animal meats):smooched:

What's really the dealio?

Probably going to find the same difference in opinion here. I always thought all whey protein was a like. It will absorb as much as the body is able to absorb, In other words find yourself the best tasting protein. =)
