My daily goal- what's the deal?

Does anyone know what determines each individuals goals? I'd love to understand it a bit more.

Which part are you looking for clarification on? Calorie allotment, macros, weight?0

Your goal is based on:
BMR* + daily activity calories** = non exercise daily burn
non exercise daily burn - deficit = daily calorie intake goal
*BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) = calories you burn just being alive....number is based on height, weight, age, and gender
**Daily Activity Calories = these are determined by the non exercise activity level you selected0 -
There are a couple of options:
1. Here is one site for the BMR and TDEE calculators. This will help you understand better.
2. Look at your profile on this site. Go to “My Home” then select “Goals”, you will see the way MFP structured your profile.
Please keep in mind these are best estimates and you should use your best judgment in regards to your numbers.0
