Activity level

Training for a half marathon, full-time cashier, and starting to weight lift again after a one month break. I'm currently doing lightly active as my activity level, but some days I'm just starving after eating my allotment of 2300 calories. I know MFP accounts that we eat our exercises logged, but if I'm starving at 6PM after a full days work, I shouldn't have to work out to eat more.
I try to eat healthy, and heck just got a physical done. Blood sugars and cholesterol are all in check. I do eat more carbs than I should (I have a sweet tooth as I grew up at a DQ in a sense), but other than that, high protein low fat and try to do high fiber. I drink a lot of beverages and fluids during the day so I'm well hydrated. I'm yo-yo ing with food because I can do well for a week them I get tired and just eat, ha. It's not healthy, but neither is exercising just so i can eat more.
What more can I do? I'm 6'2", 29, m, 205lbs. My BMR says 1950 but I think 2250 calories is too low to sustain for my activity level, to lose one pound a week. I heard that MFP doesn't take into consideration that I might have more muscle mass since I'm a (pudgy) athlete. Otherwise, perhaps I should up the activity level and strive to just maintain my weight for a while.

You only have 28 lb. to lose. Lower your goal from 1 lb. per week to .5 lb. per week, and be patient.

You have to play with your calorie numbers a bit. At your height, weight and age, I agree that you need more calories. MFP numbers are a guide, you may be different.0
