The Nature's Path Q'ia brand has super healthy cereal, but it's not really cereal. It's buckwheat, hemp, and chia. So yummy and very healthy.

I like to either make my own granola (simply google for the recipe), or I get different granolas from the Whole Foods bulk section.

Only down side is that it is high in cals. I'm on a 1200 calorie max, and I can easily waste half of that on just granola and milk. Luckily I hit the gym for 1-2 hours each day, so I can still eat lunch and dinner.

    Cereals I have tried:

    Honey Bunches of Oats
Honey Bunches of Oats with almonds
    Cheerios
    Honey Nut Cheerios
    Rice Krispies
    Special K
    Lucky Charms
    Count Chocula
    Raisin Bran
    Frosted Flakes
    Chex
    Krispix
    Oatmeal Crisp
    Corn Flakes
    Honeycomb
    Corn Pops
    Special K Red Berries

I'm not really much of a cereal person, though.

My suggestion is to try whatever is in the store that you think you might like, and then proceed from there.

For example, if you try it and you do not like it, then you need to evaluate whether the taste is bad enough that it's worth throwing out the rest of the box (or feeding it to the chickens, because everyone has chickens, right?)

And then once you've either finished it, thrown it out, fed it to the chickens, you can try with the next one in your store that you think you might like.

If, on the other hand, you did like the first one you tried, then you can either continue to eat that for a while, or maybe test-drive more types to see which of them you also like.

Once you have determine which kind(s) you like then you can buy any one of those whenever you are at the grocery store.

Also, various manufacturers run sales regularly, so if you find ones you like from different brands, you can buy the one you like that is on sale that week, if that sort of thing is important to you.

Did I read this wrong? You're a 160+ pound dude and you're planning to train for a marathon on 1200 calories a day?

Nature's Path Blueberry Cinnamon Flax is my favourite. I also like Apple Jacks, Froot Loops, and plain Cheerios.

    Oh, wait.

    Are we including granolas?

Because that's a whole other ball game. A whole other ball of wax, if you will.

This is where things get interesting.
