Hi I weighed myself last night before bed and I was 138lb. Done same again this morning and was 136lb. Just wondering what reading should I take for my weight loss as I know the 136lb will go up over the day with food and water.

Pick a time of day to weigh yourself, weigh yourself at that time every time, and use that number. With weight fluctuations it's never going to be an exact number anyway.0

You should be weighing at the same time of day, same clothes/or none, and the same day of the week. Weight will be vastly different at night as you have stated. All the food/water/waste is in your body. Pick a day and time and stick with it. Otherwise, you will get those off readings.0

Personally I weigh myself everyday at the same time every day. This is normally first thing in the morning after I have been to the bathroom. I think consistency is key.0

First thing in the morning after visiting the toilet will give you the most accurate reading. Any other time of day weight will fluctuate according to food intake, hydration levels and activity. Overnight is when we do a good amount of fat burning and muscle growth and repair. You're not going to get an accurate reading of fat loss if you weigh at the end of the day. So in this case you would record 136lbs.0

yes - what she said - once a week the same day and time every week is plenty. Your weight will fluctuate daily - heck hourly...don't stress about it.0 -
morning weight after peeing is generally more accurate.0

Morning after you pee is the most accurate, honestly. In the evening it depends a lot on what you've eaten during the day etc.0

I find the ideal time to weigh is right after you wake up, after going to the bathroom. At night your weight is going to fluctuate to a higher one for a little because of the food you ate throughout the day. And like other people said, weigh yourself at the same time of the day.0

I weigh myself every Sunday morning after I use the bathroom, take a shower and before I eat. I find it better to just weigh once a week, and usually I avoid weighing when it's that time of the month cause I know it'll be a gain lol.0
