Hi everyone.

I just completed my first successful week logging and exercising, and I weighed in this morning after avoiding the scale all week.. 3.8 pounds down! Great, right?! Except I'm a little concerned.

My biggest motivation in doing this, is to make the weight loss sustainable. I have been having a great deal of trouble trying to come up with the amount of calories I need daily. I set it for 1400, as I work all day on my feet, up and down ladders, etc 10 hours a day and adjusted my activity level as "very active". I also eat back every one of my exercise calories, and most days I go over that. I exercise twice a day.. I run, because I'm marathon training, and do 30 minutes of p90x3 a day. I use a heart rate monitor to determine calories burned.

Biggest question: should I manually up my calories? If so, how much do you think would be good? I don't mind losing like this, I just want it to be sustainable and would be open to losing slowly if that's what it takes. I am 5'2" and 138.5 pounds. Thanks for any and all advice!
