    probably the best things i've eaten from a crock pot were ribs. but i do everything from whole chicken to beef stew in a crock pot. i find potatoes add a lot of fluid so you don't need much fluid if you add them. carrots hold well, whereas something like broccoli just falls apart and mushes. baked beans are also good in a crock pot.
