Quick thanks on weight gain

warnings for when you start a new weight lifting program/increase intensity on cardio.

I just upped my exercise routine last week by adding weights 3x per week and upped the intensity/duration of my cardio on alternate days.

I was up on the scale and panicked but then remembered all the advice I had read on here that it can take some time for the water retention to go away as muscles heal. (I am quite sore at the moment).

So thanks!! You kept me from having a mini-meltdown. :) And, yes, I have also taken measurements so I can track that progress as well.
