Create a New Recipe in your MFP diary. Add the total ingredients required to make the entire recipe in the crockpot. Then specify how many servings will be made in the crockpot. MFP will then divide everything by the serving number, then you just have to eat one serving of what you cooked in the crockpot and you're good to go.

First off, what are you making?

Some things I use the recipe tool, but other times if the star of the show is meat with a little vinegar, onions, seasonings, garlic etc sprinkled in I just log the slow-cooked meat as the nutrition because 1/8 of an onion and a bunch of spices don't really go that far.

Now, if you're making something like chili, or soup, or marinara, or anything that is not just fancied up meat log everything into the recipe.

    That's just me.

My problem is always deciding how many servings there are.

My problem is always deciding how many servings there are.

I had read a good solution to the servings thing somewhere on the MFP forum. Something about weighing EVERYTHING afterwards in grams, like 1950g and then calling that 19.5 servings. Then when you take a portion, you would subtract the weight - 250g weight you would subtract 2.5 servings. Don't quote me on it but it was something like that... probably in one of the other threads discussing this same topic... (obviously this has nothing to do with the weights of things you are putting in. JUST for servings)
