Hey, anyone know the calorie burn for an hour of zumba? It's not on the database... Thanks!

    It's different for everyone, even class by class. I've had classes where I burn 254 and then classes where I burn over 600, all depends on what you put into it.

    I thought the video said up to 1000 for an hour. In the intro video. Or maybe it was on the infomercial. lol. Either way- its good stuff- do it and keep it up! Zumba rocks!

    I have a heart rate monitor and it says I burn between 500- 600 calories in a 45 min session with the videos!

    I also wear a heart rate monitor. I usually burn between about 475 and 675 calories during an hour class. It depends on how much intensity i put into my moves and the overall intensity of each instructor class. I love the live class so much more than the videos, The energy in the room is amazing and it's so much fun! I enter it as "dance, aerobic..." on my log. Have fun!
