Words of wisdom

Let's gather some words of wisdom. Little things you realized throughout your journey (that have not been mentioned a million times before).

- The fitbit taught me something. I had always thought that running for 30min a day does not make a huge difference in a long day when it comes to calories burned. But I did not have more time than 30 min --> that made my excuse to not even do the 30min. NOW I come home from a 30min run, and at 7am MFP tells me that I have more than 200cal extra today and I have not even started walking around in an active day. Bottomline: 30min running DO make a difference.

- I had always looked at other toned people thinking that they probably don't work out and are just lucky. While I am not. Perfect excuse not to work out, right? NOW I talk to people about exercise etc and I notice that most people who look good DO exercise and watch what they're eating.
