Myo-Inositol and Water Intake

My naturopath recommended that I add Myo-inositol to my supplement regime for my PCOS. Is anyone else taking it? I'm not taking a whole lot (1/2tsp) and have noticed that I have needed way more water than usual plus I'm bloated out like I'm 9 months pregnant (which I'm not). I can't seem to find any research on the subject online, so was just reaching out to see if anyone else had similar issues with it. I do have a follow up with her, but not for a while :) Gonna start drinking coconut water just to keep up!!!

    I just heard about myo-inositol yesterday while reading about how to balance hormones and PCOS. I saw some info on www.pcosdiva.com and myo-inositol.com. I'm trying to remember which site I saw that mentioned about splitting the dosage in half and that should help with bloating or any other digestive issues that may be occurring due to inositol. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful...and I wish you the best luck in finding some relief :-)
