Insanity and Nutrition

Hi

I've borrowed a copy of the Insanity DVD from a family member (may live to regret it lol) and just wondered how important the nutrition section is? I have worked out my calories intake and just wondered if I could do my own 5 meals to make up that amount (obviously sticking to clean food) only because I'm a pretty fussy eater!

Thank you - and sorry if this has been asked before!

Did you look over the nutrition guide? They give several options to substitute if you don't like items.

Aside from that, you could create your own nutrition plan - as long as its 40/40/20 protein/carbs/fat. But why would you want to do it yourself when the program has already worked it out for you?

Only as I don't want to cook separate meals for everyone in the family - I would like to try to keep to similar meals!

I follow the 40/40/20 rule for macros but I follow my own plan since I am gluten free and a vegetarian!

I've been doing Insanity for 4 weeks now and continue to use the BMR + exercise calories. I try to keep my macros to 40/40/20 as well.
