Runner, 147 down and yet a long ways to go....

Hi my name is Jessica. I am 28 years old and this last year has been an amazing up and down ride on MFP. I absolutely love this forum. I started my weight loss journey at 385 and found MFP at 352.2. Since the. I have lost 147 pounds. I never expected what an amazing adventure this would be. I never wanted to loose weight before last year. Weight watchers and everything else seemed to hard. When I was introduced to MFP it all made sense.

I also fell in love with running and haven't stopped since. I am currently preparing for my second half marathon and have races lined up from now til christmas. I really wanted to run my first full in May but my body is not ready. So I am planning to do one hopefully this fall.

Probably the most frustrating thing is although I have come so far I still have a long ways to go. I am 3 pounds away from not being obese and 5 pounds from the 100's but I still have at least 50 pounds to go to hit middle of my healthy weight range. Plus a lot of toning to do.

I am so very proud of my journey. So I guess this post is just to say hello. If anyone whose on an incredibly long journey needs a friend whose been there and still there I'm always a round.

And congrats to all of you just starting and those still walking or running this journey. Because its a life changing one.
