another newbie (at least to MFP)

I'm brand new to MFP, one of the PT's at my gym recommeded it to me and I love it, particularly the mobile app :heart: I am here to get healthy and get off the 'diet merry-go-round' that I've been on for the past 20 years. I'm 38 and only just came to the realisation that I have been on one diet or another almost every day for more than half of my life! Insane!
Now I have realised that I just need to make a change to the way I think, and think healthy to be healthy. I also look at my kids and realise that I need to be a positive role model for them so that they don't get on this ride too.

I'm looking forward to reading about everyone's journey, and gaining inspiration along the way. I hope that I'll be able to share these with all of you, too.
