Scale saying ive gained weight!?

So basically I have been losing a pretty steady weight of 2 lbs per week. I have a calorie intake of 1345 and I exercise 6 times a weekfor half an hour or an hour. But for March Break I went to Europe and was walking for six hours every daybasically and when I came back I lost like five pounds or something and then every day afterwards for three days I would lose a lbs a day when I weighed myself in the morning (I was wearing the same clothes everytime). But then afterwards it said i had gained five lbs and was now 188. So I just ignored it because it happens sometimes because I weigh myself pratically everyday, but after three days it still says in that weight and am gaining weight as well! But i also weighed myself in just my underwear and when I put my clothes on and stepped on again it said I weighed 2 lbs less. So now im just confused. Is it because I went to Europe, am i gaining weight even though my diet hasn't changed or is my scale just bad (it's digital).

The post was a little bit confusing but from what I understand you were on a diet and had rapid weight loss. Then you gained back some weight, lost a bit, and now am gaining weight again?
I have some questions:
What is your maintenance calories?
How long were you on the diet for?
Do you weigh/count your calories or just eyeball everything?
What type of exercise do you do? (HIIT, weightlift, etc.?)0 -
I use the "Happy Scale" app because it smooths out some of those variations and give me a better big picture of whether I'm gaining or losing.
That being said, this board is for those people who want to gain weight.0 -
When is the last time you changed your scale batteries? Losing a pound a day is hard at my weight, let alone at 188ish. I would think the scales needs new batteries.
But a lot of food in Europe is a whole lot less processed then food here in North America... it's possible maybe your body is just readjusting to all the sodium again? If you are up two pounds... I would just say you lost 3lb in Europe and go from there.0
