Ankle/Calf pain while running

When I first started exercising I would get this pretty intense burn in my ankle and up the bottom half of my calf when I ran or jogged for more than a minute or two. This was about two months ago that I started going to the gym. It seemed to go away for a bit, but now it's back. It only burns after about a minute of jogging or running and then goes away almost instantly when I stop. What is it?? Am I running wrong? Is there something wrong with my ankles?? Bad shoes??? I know that I can run much longer than I have been, but I have to stop because the burn is so bad.

Thanks!

My friend had the pain up her calves, after speaking with PT she found out it was because she was running on her toes, more bouncing than running. Could be that? Always worth investing in some good trainers anyway, if you're running you should aim a half shoe size up from your actual size. Helps to avoid nasty blackened toenails and blisters.

In cause I am curious about front foot pain. My left foot felt like it was numb while running today.

What's your diet like? If you are eating a lot of heavily processed food, you are likely getting a load of glyphosate (Roundup) because it is used in corn, soy, sugar cane, sugar beets, wheat, and sorghum, which are, in turn, used extensively in the heavily processed junk and restaurant food that has been engineered to addict us. Glyphosate causes a host of deficiencies in the body (it was originally invented as a VERY strong chelating agent) and that is exactly what it does in the body--it binds up various minerals and makes them unavailable to nourish our muscles. Try going off of grains and processed food entirely and see if that helps after a few weeks. High performance athletes (and their coaches) have already figured out that peak performance just doesn't happen if an athlete is eating a lot of junk.

It would be helpful if you would open your food diary so that we can see what you are eating.

Hope this is helpful. Not a cure-all necessarily, but may bring some relief.
