I need some help and support

I have been overweight for as long as I can remember. I have struggled with my weight since early teens. I come from a family that enjoys outdoors, sports and is rather active, but I was always the one who was bigger than the rest of them.
Between the age of 7 to 16 I swam 7-10 km, 6 days a week, but I was always kind of chubby and never fit enough to be a true competitor, swimming has always been part of my life, but is a rather competitive sport in Australia. When I turned 20 I let myself go and my weight sky rocked. Since then I focused on my studies and ended up in a desk job and I forgot what it was life to be active.
Since mid January 2014 have been walking 5.5km early morning and I started to change my eating habits. I have lost 5 kilos but in the last two weeks I have lost the motivation I had when I first started. It is silly because I have seen the little changes, the fact that my clothes are a little bit loser and not as thigh as before. However things have been hard and I feel myself letting go of the inner power I had at the begging of the year.
I don't want to lose that inner power, I want to conquer my demons and lose the extra weight I have been carrying once and for all.
If anyone has any advise I appreciated. I recently found mfp and it looks like a great tool to build up the confidence I need.
