Depends, do you know what you are eating, when and most importantly how much?
Just had bacon, omelette and avocado. It is good, easy to make and being on a 5/10 % deficit I am still maintaining a low / slightly dropping BF!
But then again, I plan all my meals and macros in advance.

I try to mix it up when I do my weekly meal plans but as abadvat said it depends.
Some suggestions - Egg white omelettes with veggies, home made toasted muesli with 1 tablespoon of low fat plain yogurt and blueberries (better to make yourself as you know exactly how much and what goes into it), toast with light spread of ricotta or extra light philly with 1/4 avocado and Roma tomato, smoothies, oats, fruit salad, 2 small poached eggs with whole meal toast, tomato and spinach.

I'm not real big on breakfast nor do I care to take the time to actually cook something or create more dirty dishes so I usually have a protein bar or a FiberOne lemon bar (those are really yummy!)

I try to go higher protein at breakfast. Lowfat cottage cheese or greek yogurt with strawberries, Kashi Go Lean Crunch with skim milk, a protein shake with PB and banana, egg whites and turkey sausage, or oatmeal since it will keep me fuller longer. I try to eat between 200 and 350 calories for breakfast and usually don't have a snack between breakfast and lunch.

I'm a big fan of bagel thins with reduced fat cream cheese or cereal. The key is to measure/weigh to make sure you know how much you're getting. I'm usually not super hungry in the morning, or even if I am my tummy doesn't actually want much food so ~200 calories is usually enough for me. I'd throw in some fruit if i'm still hungry.

Oatmeal with chia seeds and a splenda and water.
