That time when one says he will be taking off from work for a trail race and is met with bemusement to the effect that running isn't for him because he is still obviously overweight.

I have 120+ miles per month and average 8:30 pace that says differently. I about died from the irony.

    Irony for sure. Maybe they aren't aware of your 120+ miles per month. That's awesome by the way! Rude of them to say. They made a silly judgement and were clearly wrong.

    Human nature. When people can't elevate themselves, they bring others down. Most are jealous they aren't doing something that awesome or healthy. Keep up the hard work man.
