c25k & 30 day shred rotation... too much?

I have started the c25k and do that every monday-wednesday-friday. I plan on doing each week twice to stretch it out a bit.

I was thinking to do 30 day shred tuesday-thursday-saturday. Is that too much?

I take Sundays off.
Im not planning on joining a gym so I was hoping 30 day shred was going to give me something a bit different on my off days.

Input would be awesome.
Cheers!
Rach

    Hi,

I was planning on doing something similar to this. I was planning on doing the 30 day shred 3 times a week and a longer DVD such as Davina McCalls times I week. I reckon it should be fine, as the 30 day shred is meant to be done everyday anyway, so replacing 2 days a week with c25k and rest day seems plausible to me.

Let me know how it goes & good luck :)

    Will do.
I hadn't even opened the box yet :)
If it's to be done every day I guess I will just stretch it out similar to what aim doing with c25k. The new improved 60 day shred :)

    Good luck with yours too!

I think 30DS with C25k is quite common. Just listen to your body though and rest if you need to.

I prefer doing 30 day shred every other day its hard on my knees. I think it would be fine plus it has weights in it so you will be working different muscles.

I am doing this as well. I don't think it is too much. My only suggestion is to not limit your rest day to Sunday. Listen to your body. But you will most likely be really sore from JM for a few days! It really gets better, stick with it!

30DS is only 26 mins long including warm up and cool down and it is designed to be done everyday! The early weeks of c25k are quite light too so I would say as long as you don't have any medical issues you should be fine... If you find you aren't take a few extra rest days and maybe take your time building up through the levels.

I did 30DS (three rounds) whilst training for 5k, then 10k then half marathon. I now do Extreme Shed and Shred (40mins) about 4 times a week and run about 20 miles a week. I usually have one rest day.

    Good luck
