Hi,

I'm new to this and would appreciate any help from others.

I have been logging in daily and intend to carry on doing so...seems to be the only way to go if I'm going to lose this weight.

I have 50+ lbs to lose and would love to receive help from others on here...and give any help if others need it :)

    Welcome! You can do it. Just takes maturity and a need of some kind to actually pursue it at length. But it can be done! :wink:

    You can do this. I have about 50 more to loose before reaching my goal so we are in the same boat. Just stay focused and you will make it.

    Thanks...I'm reading a lot on the forums.

    It's good to see how other ppl are doing. Watching and reading how others cope and carry on, is a good thing...it helps me to focus and work through the realisation that this is a marathon, not a sprint for me!

    Somehow, seeing others in the same situation as myself, makes it seem more doable...if that makes sense!lol

    The first thing you have to keep in mind is that the hardest part of all diets is being conscious of what we eat. Sometimes we think that we're eating healthy because we eat a lot of fruit and veggies without noticing the quantities or the sauces...

    I don't know what kind of help you need, if you need some advice, cheering up or some tips, let me know.

    Hi and thanks :)

    I have to admit one of my downfalls is sauces, but I am staying away from the shop bought...I can cook (it's laziness that stopped me before) and so am making homemade curries, chillies etc etc etc.

    I'm on here more for the motivational help...and whatever advice anyone thinks will help me :)

    I'm also willing to do the same for others...it's easier (I find) when you aren't going it alone.
