I track my calories, fat, protein, fiber, carbs, sodium.... I tried tracking sugar, but I was over my allotted 25 grams by breakfast!0

I think sodium and carbs are your best bet for 2 of them. You might want to keep an eye on your fat intake. Other than that ... You just go with what else's already there. That's just IMHO.....0 -
I do calories, fat, carbs and protein, but I mainly just pay attention that I am under my calories and close to what it says for the rest.0

I do carbs, fat, sodium, protien and fiber. I dont get enough fiber (and that is the cause of other issues with my body). I strive to get enough protien while keeping my fat/sodium down.0

I watch the calorie intake, carbs, and fat. Keeping within your suggested calorie intake is key I think.0

You don't necessarily need to track anything other than calories to lose weight. I only track calories and fat grams even though I think I have like carbs and something else on my diary page. Whatever you do, don't worry about tracking sugar or sodium. Unless you've been told by your doctor to watch your sugar and sodium intake, don't even fret about it! It drove me nuts when I was tracking sugar and sodium. I started restricting my calories and starving myself if I ever went over. I'm feeling much better now that they're gone from my food diary. And, it hasn't made a SINGLE difference in my weight loss. Still losing 2 pounds a week! I'm working on allowing myself the amount of fat grams that MFP has given me. For some reason, ever since I've started I've been really anal about my fat grams and have been keeping them quite below the recommended amount. I can't tell you how much easier it'd be for me if I would just eat my 45 grams of fat instead of 25. I tried last week going up to 30-35 grams of fat each day, and still lost. So, I'm going to try 35-40 grams this week. I'll tell you later if fat grams matter. Haha. I know my dad doesn't count his fat and he's losing weight fine. We'll see!! Good luck.0
