fitbit flex-sync issues?

I just got a fitbit flex and I cannot figure out how to sync it to my fitness pal. I had an older one that I thought I had synced but it didn't work so I bought a new one and cannot figure it out. HELP...

    I think you have to do it through the fitbit website before trying to sync it with MFP. if you go into the tools section and click on settings then there is a applications tab if you click on there i think it lets you link with MFP through there. Once you have done that if you go onto the apps section on MFP then on to fitness trackers an there should be a button that says about syncing fitbits. I'm not sure if this is totally right i cant remember how i did mine but it was something like this!!
