Well where to start? I'm finally kicking myself to do better for my health and body. My idea of fun is sitting in front of the PC or TV playing video games for endless hours;(anywhere from 6h to 30h straight) and when I used to have Netflix, Id watch a entire TV series in a week or two. (In fact just watched the LotR movies on the DVR yesterday, again) I don't find outside activities to be very fun. I like how relaxing nature is and how beautiful it looks, I just don't find myself out in it. Not a fan of the cold or humid summer heat. Only time I'm outside is in perfect spring/fall weather, like now. lol. Anyways as you can see, I'm lazy. :P I'm Alanna (E-lane-ah). 19; 5'2 and the week before last I got on a scale because my mind was going threw a health fix. I was a bit sad. I've always been a bigger girl since like the 3rd grade (from what i can tell from old pictures, I was a chub!) I was over the 300 lbs mark. Actually I was 311. I've never seen myself go over 290. D: Last week I started counting my calories and have been walking most morning & nights around the block. (When the snow isn't here to surprise me, hopefully no more snow!!) Whenever I look something up on the internet about exercise or other health things, I always found myself here. So Figured I'd join the site. :)
My first week was great and surprising. My main goal was to just serve the serving size on the labels. My eyes were like "Wow, Id eat x3-x5 that amount!"; keeping a food journal (again) this time more of a proper food journal. I dropped dairy; I'm loving almond milk so much. Wondering if it'd be worth dropping my pasta/breads as well. Haven't been eating anything with added sugars. All I'm drinking is water and green tea. :) I tried that fresh warm lemon water in the morning; too sour, don't think ill be drinking that.
I think I rambled a little to much lol.
I'll just name some of my small beginner goals and leave my into as that. :)
-Be under 300lbs
-Fit into size 18 pants! (Ive never worn a size smaller than 20; since when I was growing up I always chose to wear boys/mens clothes)
-Jog for the first time since 5th grade (ohboy)

On the side note. Hello everyone! :D
