Food

I like to eat salads once in a while. I usually like to add chicken or hard boiled eggs. But I don't want to get bored or eat the same so much that I hate it. I usually add a bit of croutons, creamy Caesar dressing, and artificial bacon. Any suggestions on what else I can add to my salad. Thank you!!!!

Diced apple, sunflower seeds, raw pumpkin seeds, slivered almonds, mandarin oranges, sliced olives, tomatoes, diced zucchini, cabbage, carrots, etc. Really the possibilities are endless. I've seen my husband put cottage cheese on his.

I get bored with salads too!. Now that it is getting back to grilling season, I like to grill chicken, steak, pork, whatever on Sunday and pre cut and measure it into baggies. Then I can grab and go on my way to work for lunch. And instead of just taking lettuce, I like to change it up by mixing it with spaghetti squash, or peppers (green/red/yellow) with maybe a sprinkle of cheese - like a philly without the bread. Stuff like that - not adding the bread, I can keep my calories down and all the protien keeps me fuller longer.

fruit, seeds (sesame, poppy), toasted nuts (almonds, walnuts, pecans, pine nuts), beans (garbanzo, kidney, black, cannellini), avocados, hard-boiled eggs, and experiment with flavored vinegars,
