    Yes, self defense, couldn't get the guy off of me. Even that didn't work. Luckily another guy came to my rescue.

    My husband, on April Fool's day. This was a few months before we got married.
    He and I lived in different cities, about an hour apart. I was visiting with him that night and left for home around 6pm and told him to call my house phone in a little over an hour (I had a limited number of minutes on my cell) and told him I would talk to him when I got home. Well, when he called I had a roommate answer the phone saying I had not made it home yet. He called periodically for 2-3 hours, calling my cell and house phone. I ignored the cell and my roommate kept saying I was not home.... Needless to say, when it turned out to be an April Fool's prank, he was pretty mad. I don't pull April Fool's jokes on my husband at all now. I learned that year he really doesn't like those.

    Have you ever thought someone was joking when they told you something really awful and found out that they weren't and the awful thing really did happen?

    Yes, but I was not trying to do something illegal. Driving from NJ to NY I turned right on red when I got to NY and got caught on camera. (Right on red is legal in NJ but not in NY), It didn't even occur to me that I did that until the ticket came in the mail.

    Does just off the beach count? Like not touching sand but very close to it?

    Have you ever lost a shoe, broke a heal or had your shoe destroyed somehow while you were out and had to spend some time wearing just one shoe?

    Yep, tripped and smacked my face on the way down and got a bloody nose. Lots of people starting. Very embarrassing.

    No, when I went to the gym in the morning the gym was right in my apartment complex so all I needed to do was return to my apartment afterwards.
